10bet donates gear to former Kenyan Premier League club

Former Kenyan Premier league club Re-Union Fc received playing gear from 10 bet, an online sports betting firm .

The sporting apparatus handed over by 10bet Kenya to the club during an event held at Umeme Grounds, Ziwani, Nairobi consisted of 40 full playing kits, soccer balls, shin guards, goalkeeper gloves and a first aid box.

Former Harambee Stars player and Re-Union head Coach Tom Ogweno said the donation will aid their preparations ahead of a grueling campaign.

“With the advent of Covid, our team and many others suffered great loss. It has been difficult to reach the standard of soccer that we believed we could however, this contribution from 10bet will certainly take us many steps closer. As a club, we hope these measures by 10bet to support soccer in Kenya will encourage other companies to follow suite and take football in our communities to greater heights”, – remarked Ogweno.

“On behalf of the team, we would like to thank 10bet Kenya for the donation. It will aid us in achieving some of the short-term goals we have set for ourselves as a club”,

– said Dickson Gitahi, Re-Union FC Club Captain.

10bet launched in the country in April 2022 believe their donation will be key to the clubs ambitions as it gears to regain its former glory.

“Re-Union has groomed many soccer legends of our time. We have faith in the team to continue to produce great legends with the aid of our contribution. At 10bet, we are committed to continuously supporting our local communities through sustainable sports initiatives”,

The betting firm has signed major sponsorship deals with several top tier clubs in the continent including Dodoma Jiji FC in Tanzania, Red Arrows in Zambia as well as Aduana Stars in Ghana.
