Betconstruct To Launch Sportsbook In South Africa With Gbets

BetConstruct is to open its sportsbook in South Africa with Gbets before the end of the year after the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board has issued the requisite certification.

The fully managed sports betting system was established under the country’s national manufacturer license from BetConstruct, while the provincial board’s letter of approval was based on a document from South Africa’s BMM Test Labs.

Gbets, which relaunched its online betting and gaming business on the BetConstruct platform in Lesotho last month, has set the planned “end of November” date for South Africa to go live.

“This certification is another move forward to expanding our supply throughout South Africa,” said Karine Kocharyan, Head of Licensing and Certification at BetConstruct.
