‘Betting is the only way the youth can be rich’ – says winner

Popular punter Michael Kwame Kpogli has given his take on sports betting after becoming the biggest winner to place a bet with Soccabet.

The 35-year-old lucky punter placed a bet worth ¢60 cedis on 24 games last week and succeeded in racking up a whopping GHc1,000,000.00

Michael is now the biggest winner ever and the record holder in the history of Ghana’s number one betting outlet Soccabet with his current win.

Michael’s cheque was presented to him at Soccabet’s Head Office in Osu, on Wednesday 4th December 2019 in the presence of the Gaming Commission of Ghana.

Following his historic win, the punter waded in the debate over whether sports betting should be encouraged.

According to him, sports betting is the fastest way the youth can make money in genuine ways.

“I will die with Soccabet, drink with Soccabet and chop with Soccabet. You see, the only way the youth can be rich within seconds is [through] Soccabet,” – Michael said.
