BeyondPlay in first deal with Pragmatic Play

BeyondPlay, a B2B start-up developing multiplayer engagement software for online slots, is set for its first major integration after securing a deal with leading games supplier Pragmatic Play.

A selection of titles from Pragmatic Play will be integrated with the BeyondPlay software solution and launched with an initial period of exclusivity with LeoVegas Group.

Following the completion of BeyondPlay’s licensing and certification process, the partnership will enable operators to offer industry-leading slot titles from the Pragmatic Play portfolio, coupled with an engaging multiplayer mode, developed by BeyondPlay and featuring a wide array of social and interactive features.

The deal with Pragmatic Play represents a major milestone for BeyondPlay, after the start-up closed a sizable investment round last year that saw the venture arm of LeoVegas become a lead investor.

Since then, the company has moved quickly to build a strong management team with the high-profile hires of Jacqui Gatt, previously director of gaming at Casumo, as COO and Cristina Turbatu, formerly of Playtech, as CTO.
