The tournament will take place from 31 March to 4 April at the Windhoek Country Club and Casino. Participating nations include South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Zambia and potentially Angola, which is expected to confirm its participation soon. Brenda Lens, the secretary general of the Namibia Golf Federation, confirmed that Namibia’s team is already in camp, preparing for the tournament. She said the full list of the golfers will be put out later this week. “The team was chosen after a series of local tournaments, and we have assembled a strong women’s side to represent Namibia at this prestigious event. We are positive the girls selected for this event will make the nation proud,” – she said. With the team training at the Windhoek Country Club and Casino, Lens said preparations are underway, with both the hotel and golf course management ensuring all logistics are in place. “We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the teams, and everything is progressing smoothly. The Namibian team is in camp, and other teams have also begun their preparations. The final squad will be released later this week,” “The Windhoek Country Club management has been working tirelessly to ensure the course meets international standards. We are proud to host this event, which will also have a significant economic impact,” – she added.
