ONLINE WORLD NEWS Gamers of Cybersports Host Educational Event for Young Gamers in Dubai 2 years ago Samuel Post Views: 467 The gamers’ dream came true — True Gamers, an international network of eSports clubs, and Christopher Alesund, a world-renowned cybersportsman, organized an educational event for young individuals interested in gaming and cybersport in one of its clubs at the International City Pavilion. The three-hour event included various activities such as an AIM competition in CS:GO, a big public game on joysticks where winners were determined, questions from the audience, and an autograph session with Christopher Alesund. True Gamers aims to hold such educational events regularly, inviting different professional cybersportsmen as mentors. Christopher Alesund, also known as “GeT_RiGhT”, conducted a masterclass on playing CS:GO for teenagers and young individuals. During the masterclass, participants learned the basics of gaming tactics, effective communication with each other, proper and quick character control, analyzing game moments, and quickly responding to new circumstances. They also received advice on improving their skills in the game, including practice and error analysis. “I was delighted to disclose my experience and knowledge, sharing it with truly passionate people in Dubai,” – said Christopher Alesund. As a result of the event, participants gained new knowledge and skills and had fun, and the tournament winners also received bonuses for visiting the True Gamers. “True Gamers is a space that unites young, passionate gamers, allowing them to improve their skills and learn from professional experience. I am very pleased that our company is one of the drivers of cybersport development in the MENA region,” – said Vlad Belyanin, co-founder and CPO of True Gamers. The event’s success demonstrated the importance of understanding young gamers’ needs and providing them with educational opportunities as tools for teaching. True Gamers looks forward to hosting more events and continuing to support cybersport development in the MENA region.
