EXPERTS HOT NEWS UGANDA How betting sector is now a 3 Trillion Shs investment 4 months ago Iwo Bulski Post Views: 394 Gaming and Sports Betting is one of the biggest sources of revenue in terms of taxes remitted by the Gaming companies to the Uganda Revenue Authority. Speaking to NTV, Denis Mudene Ngabirano the Chief Executive Officer of the National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board, says the turnovers of the over 50 licensed companies, now stand at three trillion shillings. Therefore in total, they contributed over 130 billion shillings to the Uganda Revenue Authority in tax revenue. As Sudhir Byaruhanga reports, Ngabirano said the industry is growing and resource partnerships have been secured to promote responsible gaming.
