Fortune smiled on 40-year-old Osasebo Uwadiae, at the weekend, as he won eleven million, forty two thousand four hundred and sixty naira (N11, 042,460:00) on the coupon of Nigeria’s leading sports betting company, Winners Golden Bet.

Uwadiae, who hails from Ofunegbe town in Ovia South West Local Council of Edo State, said he played the coupon with the sum of N30,000.

An elated Uwadiae said winning the N11m was a miracle as he had been jobless since three weeks ago when his vehicle was out of use due to technical fault.

On how he will spend the jackpot, Uwadiae said he would judiciously invest the money in shares.

“I won’t use this money on my transport business, rather I will invest it in shares to get more money because I want to help poor people,” – he said.

He thanked the management of Winners Golden Bet for keeping to its promise of prompt payment of winnings.
