Illegal slot machines seized and confiscated in Uganda

Deng Wenchao, a Chinese national, was arrested in Nakasongola district by the @lgrb_uganda. Enforcement team, with the support of @PoliceUg, for manufacturing and assembling fish tanks and Chinese slot machines without a Board license, in violation of Section 67 of the Lotteries and Gaming Act Cap. 334.

He is currently detained at CPS Kampala and scheduled to appear before Makindye Standards Court.

The National Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board remains committed to protecting the public from gaming harm and ensuring that all gaming operations are within the law.
