Oddschecker extends partnership with Bet365

Oddschecker has extended its partnership with bet365 in a deal that aims to bolster operators authority in the UK gambling market. Oddschecker will continue to provide bet365 odds as part of a new partnership extension, Bet365 was first listed on the website in 2006 making it one of the platform’s oldest partners.

Oddschecker and bet365 have minted a multi-year partnership, building on an existing relationship between the two companies. Oddschecker provides consumers with a quick way to reference odds from multiple sports betting firms and act on the best lines and fixtures available.

As one of the earliest integrations into the Oddschecker comparison tool, bet365 is an important partner for the website. Bet365 is presently the leading betting firm in the United Kingdom with a solid footprint across the world, and overtures in the United States newly legalized betting market.

In a statement confirming the multi-year agreement, oddschecker praised the extended partnership, noting that bet365 has ‘formed a core part of the oddschecker grid proposition over the last two decades’, having held its ‘position one status since 2006’.

Toby Bentall, Oddschecker Global Media CEO, commented: “We are proud to secure another multi-year partnership extension with bet365, and so continue to provide our users with one of the best betting experiences out there via our integrated platforms. bet365 has consistently proved our most popular integrated brand from a user activity perspective, and the partnership has yielded significant mutual benefit for over fifteen years and counting. We expect to see this continue, particularly given the traffic growth oddschecker is experiencing with the recent Google search update.”

The operator’s top grid position alongside an offering focussed on attractive prices and place terms, sign up offers and overall user experience has contributed to bet365 taking nearly 25% of all oddschecker grid clicks during 2020.

A spokesperson at bet365, added:

“We place significant importance on working closely with all of our partners, and look forward to continuing this long standing relationship with oddschecker.”

Meanwhile, bet365 has been actively seeking to bolster social responsibility measures at home, joining a pitch to donate $125 million to tackle problem gambling in the United Kingdom, and the company previously launched a special live betting experience for golf fans.

Oddschecker has seen recent spikes in traffic around the time of the recent US Presidential elections and the Aintree Grand National. The website also recently cut ties with odds data from GVC-owned brands, including Betdaq, Coral and Ladbrokes.
