Title challengers Real Madrid will be looking for their third straight La Liga victory when they travel to top-four hopefuls Real Sociedad on Sunday night.Los Blancos have beaten Eibar and Valencia since the return of the 2019-20 campaign to keep in touch with Barcelona at the summit, but Sociedad have only collected one point from their last two matches.

Real Sociedad remain in pursuit of their first top-four finish since 2012/13 off the back of a five-game unbeaten home run in La Liga (LL) (W4, D1). The hosts enjoy an unbeaten record as a home outsider this LL season, having collected points against both Barcelona and Atlético Madrid.
The latter match (against Atlético) was one of nine occasions at home in which Sociedad have held a clean sheet at the break (W6, D1, L2). In fact, their home goal difference of +12 in the first hour of play is one of the strongest in the league this season.

To their credit, Real have earned a clean sheet in all four away trips to clubs in the top six places of the table after 29 rounds (W2, D2). As a result, both teams have scored in only 42.86% of their away LL encounters in 2019/20. With their head to head, the host have won 2games in the last five games while Real Madrid has won three games out of five.
