Should sports betting be banned or regulated?

Gambling has continued to grow in Nigeria and more betting companies have started to launch in the country. For these online platforms to operate in Nigeria, they have to get a licence from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC).

Recently, the media was awash with reports of the House of Representatives moves to regulate or outrightly ban sports betting in Nigeria as a result of negative effects on Nigerians, especially the youth.

People talk took to the streets to get reactions on if sports betting should be banned or regulated.
