South Africa has a new multi-millionaire after the PowerBall Plus jackpot was won in Tuesday evening’s draw. While the R108 million PowerBall jackpot was not won, one PowerBall Plus player did correctly predicted the five balls drawn plus the ‘powerball’ number – and walked away R74 155 812.50 richer.

The five PowerBall numbers drawn were (in numerical order): 5, 7, 16, 36, 41 and the Powerball number itself was 2.

One player correctly predicted all five numbers, but crucially not the PowerBall number, and won R569 402.90.The next PowerBall draw will take place on Friday, 18 November 2022 with an expected jackpot of R115 million.
