Fortebet made its donation under the umbrella association of betting companies. This donation was handed over to the government of Uganda and received by Minister Mary Carol Okurut. 23 tonnes of maize and beans were donated. Explaining why Fortebet came up, the company executive manager, Bernard Rwakihembo said that: “We feel so sorry for everyone in Uganda and across the world. We are aware that Covid-19 has ravaged every component of life and therefore many people need a lot of financial and psycho-social support.
