It is to happen at its official venue, Speke Resort Munyonyo, characterised with fun, music, eating, play, competitions and drinks. The event is organised by Ruparelia Foundation as one way of giving back to society under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). And this time proceeds from the Royal Ascot Goat Races will to the construction of sanitary toilets at Good Samaritan High School in Kamwokya. “This year, we will be supporting Good Samaritan Primary School through the Ghetto Research Lab to construct a sanitary toilet in their endeavour to keep the environment clean and create employment opportunities,” – they said a statement. The official media launch for the upcoming event happened on June 20 at Kabira Country Club where some enthusiasts bought their goats in preparation for the races that attract Kampala’s top socialists. The event promises to recreate one of the most eagerly awaited weekend’s social and merrymaking, extravagant, fashion, eats and music, which are the hallmarks of the great social event for years now.
