Algeria to seal off the Africa cup of Nations qualifications when the visit Zimbabwe.Algeria were comfortable winners over Zimbabwe on Thursday and can qualify for the 2022 African Cup of Nations with another victory on Monday. With a perfect record, a fourth straight win would earn Algeria a spot at the finals.

Zimbabwe sit in second spot in African Cup of Nations qualification Group H, but trail Algeria by five points after losing 3-1 in the reserve fixture last week.

Tino Kadewere’s 79th minute goal proved to be nothing more than a consolation after Zimbabwe trailed 3-0 at Stade du 5-Juillet-1962 in Algiers.

It is an even record of one win, one draw and one defeat so far in the campaign for Zdravko Logarusic’s side. They started with a 0-0 draw at home to Botswana in November last year before defeating Zambia 2-1 away thanks to a Khama Billiat double.

Algeria made it a perfect start to the African Cup of Nations campaign with a third straight win as they beat Zimbabwe 3-1 on Thursday.

Baghdad Bounedjah and Sofiane Feghouli scored first-half goals before Riyad Mahrez added a third after the break. Tino Kadewere got a late consolation for Zimbabwe.

Algeria started with a 5-0 win over Zambia as Bounedjah grabbed a double and Ramy Bensebaini, Youcef Belaili and Hillal Soudani all got on the scoresheet. Belaili then got the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Botswana.
